The Kerygma (Gospel)
1) God created us in His image and likeness with a will, heart, soul, mind, and body, so that we can enter into an intimate relationship with Him.
2) The effects of sin and death, both in our personal lives and the entire human race, have pushed us into a state of alienation and brokenness.
3) Jesus Christ offers us new life through the mercy and forgiveness flowing from the Paschal Mystery.
4) When we accept the Lord’s gracious offer, we become a new creation and are called to witness the love and truth of Christ to others as missionary disciples.

Repent - Believe - Be Baptized
God our Father, I believe that out of your infinite love you have created me. In a thousand ways I have shunned your love. I repent of each and every one of my sins. Please forgive me.
Thank you for sending your Son to die for me, to save me from eternal death. I choose this day to enter into (renew my) covenant with you and to place Jesus at the center of my heart. I surrender to him as Lord over my whole life.
I ask you now to flood my soul with the gift of the Holy Spirit so that my life may be transformed. Give me the grace and courage to live as a disciple in your Church for the rest of my days.
Amen.
