My vision for our parish family is that we be an evangelized and evangelizing community, operating under the dynamic anointing of the Holy Spirit. All of our members strive for spiritual maturity and are eager to share the hope inside of them (c.f. 1 Peter 3:15).
Our worship and celebration of the Sacraments are a place of encountering Jesus Christ and celebrating His redemptive love and our dignity as children of God (c.f. 1 John 4).
Striving to equip everyone for the work of ministry (c.f. Ephesians 4:12), our faith formation aims for Christian maturity and helps parents embrace their role as the primary educators of their children in the ways of faith.
- Father Jim Northrop
Just one thing: forgetting what lies behind but straining forward to what lies ahead, I continue my pursuit toward the goal, the prize of God’s upward calling, in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13-14 NABE
Our Parish Family #32
On July 1, 2024, the 136 parishes in the Archdiocese of Seattle became 60 parish families, with eight stand-alone parishes. Each parish family is led by a pastor or pastoral coordinator, and many have a parochial vicar assisting. Together, over the next three years, the parish family will work to form one new canonical parish, while creatively re-envisioning how they will serve their community.
