Children's Faith Formation classes for preschool, kindergartem and first grade is held on Sunday's during the 10am Mass. Children must be 4 by the beginning of September to register for the preschool class. Classes begin at the end of September and end the first weekend in May. After the opening prayer at Mass, children are invited to go with the adult leaders to learn their own special Faith Formation class. During this time, we will explore the parts of the Mass, learn our prayers and hear Bible stories. Children will return to their parents at the end of Holy Communion. Our adult leaders are parent and parishioner volunteers. ELEMENTARY GRADES 2-5

Children's Faith Formation classes for grades 2-5 are held on Wednesdays from 7-8:15pm. Classes begin at the end of September and end the second week of May. Our adult leaders provide fun and engaging lessons about our Catholic faith using the Finding God curriculum. We end each class with one of our parish musicians teaching the children liturgical music that we sing during Mass. Students will also join the Sunday 10am choir for select performances during Advent, Ash Wednesday and Easter. Children who are 7 years or older are invited to prepare to receive Communion for the first time. Children prepare for the sacrament of Reconciliation during the fall and celebrate the sacrament during a special Reconciliation Retreat with their parents. In the spring children prepare for and celebrate First Communion. There is a special Saturday morning Mass for this sacrament. There are two Saturday morning parent / child retreats during the year, one for Reconciliation and one for Eucharist. Students also attend weekly classes on Wednesday nights from 7-8:15pm.
